Arrow of Light The Arrow of Light Den is the final den in Cub Scouting, preparing fifth-grade Cub Scouts for their transition into Scouts BSA. It is the highest rank a Cub Scout can achieve before moving on to the next level of Scouting. Key aspects of the Arrow of Light Den: Purpose: To help Cub Scouts prepare for the Scout Oath and Scout Law, develop leadership skills, and gain knowledge and experience in areas like outdoor skills, citizenship, and personal safety. Advancement: Cub Scouts must complete a set of required and elective adventures to earn the Arrow of Light badge. Transition: The Arrow of Light Den serves as a bridge between Cub Scouting and Scouts BSA, facilitating the transition to the higher level of Scouting. Crossover Ceremony: The culmination of their Arrow of Light journey is often a crossover ceremony, where they officially transition to Scouts BSA. Uniform: The Arrow of Light badge is the only Cub Scout badge that can be worn on the Scouts BSA uniform.
